London Bright
Late night London, Shadwell, running to wait for a train when I came across the overwhelming brilliance of M.
“What do you want to take my photo for?” she asked.
“Because you’re beautiful!” I said.
Bashful, she turned and I clicked. Just as a bright red train with a bright blue slash pulled in behind her.
All the more beautiful for her bashfulness – which you captured so perfectly.
So sweet of you to say, thank you Zita! xx
A great and sunny picture. What beautiful hair. Great moment well taken.
Thank you Gerard and yes indeed about the hair!
Glorious!
Thank you so much Pierr!
this is such great and beautiful…
Many thanks Mihrank!
This is a beautiful street portrait Patti 🙂 It doesn’t get any better than this.
Thank you Joe! It always annoys me that there aren’t more naturally beautiful women on mainstream magazine covers but then who buys magazines anymore when there’s so much on the internet? Thinking aloud here, sorry Joe!
You are so correct with you comment though Patti 🙂
Fighting a losing battle with this one, even a transgender 60 plus man has a better chance of landing a cover as an aspirational woman 😦
a moment captured forever !!!
Thank you so much Pat – you know those times when you can maybe let moments go because you can’t be bothered and then there are the times when you swing into action with fingers seriously crossed because you only have a nano-second . . . !
Gorgeous. I hope she can have a copy of this – it would be a thing to treasure forever.
A lovely thought indeed thank you Gaynor! Unfortunately we didn’t get to exchange details because of the rush what with trains etc to catch.
a lovely capture. I’m sure you made her day too.
She definitely made my day, thank you so much Ruth!
she’s gorgeous and you captured her brilliantly!! it’s such a genuine portrait, that I first really thought it’s candid… wonderful, Patti 🙂
It is sort of “candid” – we were talking and while she was thinking about it I took this shot (the second of only two), showed it to her and she was relieved to see it wasn’t as bad as she feared. The very thought! Great to have your thoughts, thank you so much Alexandra!
Beautiful….you capture the life…
Beautiful…you capture the life..
My grateful thanks to you always!
A red train makes a change from the red carpet.Lovely story and shot.
Oh thank you for that Lignum! She looked so great against the dark night sky background then this train, the most vivid train in London, had to come along . . .
Beautiful, nice light..You capture life…
Ever grateful for your kindest of words, thank you Didier.
Fab photo of a fab woman. Great work, Patti.
Thank you so much Malin, just had to be in colour!
Great portrait, Patti.
Great to hear, thank you so much Harri!
what a great portrait! i think the train doesn’t take away from M’s beauty. although i don’t have the background you originally had to compare it with. but this totally works.
No hiding from the bright and the brilliant on this dark night, thank you so much Kris!
Precise, beautiful woman and beautiful colorful portrait Patti!
Chris, thank you so much for your kind words!
The photo, the brief verbal interaction present a most wonderful story. Thank you, Patti. I learn from you every time.

Thank you so much Hedy!
I wish I could say what you said and it not be taken as a cheap come on.
She is beautiful, and this is a beautiful shot.
Sorry to hear Allan, I know what you mean . . . 😦
You can’t miss her for some many reasons. Nice capture Patti!

Thank you dear Elena!
What a beautiful portrait!
So lovely of you to say, thank you Anette!
Very good. London? Are you/were you home then?
Thank you Brian and yes, back to London and the shifting plates of that universal question – where is home?
The trite answer is “where the heart is”. Now operationalizing that… It can be wherever you can reunite with the ones you love, or… Where your heart is happy. 🙂
Be happy my dear. Wherever you are. xx
PS. Gypsies like us are fortunate, in our complicated lives: we can call most of the world Home. 🙂
Wise words to cherish, thank you Brian!
beautiful 🙂
WOW! She has charisma! Great capture 🙂
