Yes Pat, no pigeons but we were watching a young hawk nearby. Larry was beside himself, with his doll. Love your shot of Larry at home and well done on “Best of Best.”
Now I need to go google Larry, aka The Birdman.
For some reason, this portrait (which is excellent), made me think about his Mother … perhaps I am assuming too much about Larry’s story
Sometimes when I go through your photos I wonder how much time you spend on the street. The characters you find, Patti 🙂 I think he was posing, but it doesn’t look that way.
I think it’s safe to say I spend a lot of time on the streets. In certain situations, conversation always comes first and then maybe a photo. If I remember to ask!
Fantastic portrait, Patti. Love the light on his face and his hair.
Thank you Jane, Larry’s a natural.
I guess Larry saw the parties of 1968… a lovely portrait, showing age but as well care (soft looking hairs and a bandana)… :-)c

Great street portrait Patti. He looks a little like a friend I used to smoke doobies with 😀
Smoking was much kinder to your complexion Joe!
Great shot of him!! And without his beloved pigeons a shot I took of him this summer was just featured in one of the FB gallery pages !

Nice portrait. You’ve captured his character well, even without a bird in sight.
