Thank you Allan! As much as I love a parade (this was the day of NYC’s Pride Parade) I found it all a little overwhelming this year and difficult to focus – you know when you take shots without really thinking or clicking? Walking away and calling it a day it was then I found the girls. They barely budged an inch and stayed frozen in cool the whole time.
I can’t believe I hadn’t commented on this photograph before now. I have to say, what a brilliant photograph it is! The black and white is fantastic, framing, content, timing, it is all perfect. Love your photos Patti. I’ve noticed that like me, you’ve not posted for a while; I hope you are well and happy. My kindest regards to you.
You wish! 🙂

And I love the snake; saturated with street attitude.

What Happened, Miss Simone?
This is a fabulous street shot, very candid, lots of different emotions.
Fabulous street shot!! Love the way you’ve captured that b-girl’s expression and pose, very genuine…
How many days a year does she wear that inscription? 😉 Excellent candid portrait of the b-girl, Patti!
