I love the “everyday” feel of your images! 🙂
I also wanted to let you know that my blog has changed. I lost all my content and followers during a transfer. If you would still like to follow me, my new blog address is: west517photos.wordpress.com
🙂
It happened during a transfer process– I hired a company who was going to independently host my blog– and long story short- they screwed up while trying to migrate my data… 😦 So… now it’s back to square one ~ oh well. 🙂 ty for visiting me~
I like the tension on the first photo between the woman in the foreground and the two guys in the background, thought provoking “who is wiser” or “don’t move suddenly too fast, don’t make the officers nervous, they like to shoot” etc. “creep cautiously away like a worm…” – or ask them the next way to your destination?
Wonderful portraits, Patti. I love the light catch on her necklace and the police officers make it. Great reflections in the sunglasses in the second image.

Some are certainly a little more trigger happy than others but the two in this background gave me the impression they were busy talking baseball!
or invite them to the next DINER? Could be the beginning of a novel…
They love diners, and Dunkin’ Donuts, without the invitation! Great shot and music Frizz!
I love these images Patti 🙂
Thank you so much Joe!
Great portraits. Patti.
Thank you kindly Harrie!
I so love your portraits, Patti and these two are classics – love the inclusion of the two cops in the first shot.
Thank you Richard, the NYPD were all over that part of town that day turning up in most shots!

Thank you Jane, she certainly stood out in the crowd and, as close as I was, she never once looked up . . .
really great street shots – the first one is my fav because of the cops and the action – but both pair well 🙂
No hiding the cops! Thank you so much Prior!
have a great day P 🙂
I like that this portraits are so close up. It makes me feel as I get pulled into that scene and I’m standing right infront of that ladies.
btw, Blonde on Blonde, one of my favorite Dylan albums
Thank you Markus and so good to have you there / here in the scene and yes, thoroughly agree with you on the Dylan favourite!
huhuhu.. …thank you Patti. 🙂 I like it here very much… ..but how I get back?! 😀
You can check out any time you like . . . . 🙂
“…but you will never leave!” 🙂
Not so similar, not so different.
…
Well, anybody can be just like me, obviously
But then, now again, not too many can be like you, fortunately.
Absolutely Sweet Marie – Blonde on Blonde –Bod Dylan
Absolutely touché, thank you so much Marcelo!
Oh, nice:)
As someone else mentioned, I feel like I’m right there with you. The up close and personal shots are fantastic.
enjoyed these blond moments. great portraits!
I really like the first one… I think it’s because something is going on in the background.. . Great portraits!
that is some cool portraits 🙂
that second frame is my fave !!!
Love the first one especially Patti! She seems oblivious to everything around her! 🙂
Love the expressions you caught on both women’s faces, Patti!
Awesome series Patti!
Lovely portraits as ever Patti. I wonder what the young lady in the first shot was reading… and what the plod in the background were chatting about 🙂
Nice candid portraits, Patti. New gravatar?
They’re both very beautiful.
You DO know how to capture people my dear.
Nicely paired portraits.. and cleverly titled (your pictures also recall the gatefold of the original lp with the Claudia Cardinale photo).
I remember that beautiful girl from the second shot. Stunning, both of them.
