Morning in America
The other day, spring snow in the old mining town of Breckeneridge, Colorado. Taken through the dirty windscreen with the iPhone. One day I might clean it up, straighten it out but it was early morning then and it's late at night now. Like I say, one day . . . but until then, a few little spots here and there aren't going to change the world. It is what it was.
No Poles and Wires? Makes all the difference, Nice street but no people. Very different from NYC. ( as expected)
It’s a quiet little town . . . . thank you Gerard.
Snow in April?
Yes Rajiv, and more to come!
All the cars seem to be pick ups? I like it how it is!
Cars for mountain roads, thank you so much!
So do I! Another beauty for your collection.
Thank you so much Pierr!!
Like! As is!
Thank you Fernan, I’m guessing it is going to stay as is for a long time!
Great photo. And I’ve learned when taking photos from the car with the phone’s camera to pretty much leave it as it is….now that’s street photography in the real.
Perfection is over-rated!
Looks like a peaceful little town Patti 🙂
It has both character and its characters!
Looks like you had a great trip. Love the pic.
Yes Gill, thank you – exciting and exhausting!
Beautiful, as it is!
robert
Thank you Robert, you would love it there!
Absolutely lovely image.
Thank you so much Malin!
Despite the dirty windscreen it is still beautiful!
Thank you Zita – I was trying to clear the nasty crack across the bottom of the windscreen but then again, it could have added another dimension!
I agree with Malin. Spots give character.
That windscreen had a lot of character!
Very candid and real.
That’s for sure!
The “flaws” from the windshield give it an interesting texture.
Thank you so much Julie!
Like it “as is”. Authentic
Morning in America.
Big thank you Ruth!
Patti, this photo looks strangely unreal. Almost as if you were driving through a movie set. The house on the left looks ‘plonked’ onto the site. Tidy towns, especially after NYC. What a contrast! Nice surprise.
Maybe many years ago that house was just plonked there Philippa, it’s one of those old frontier towns – only Clint Eastwood is missing!
Looks like a long winter! This is so bizarre 😦
That’s life in the Rocky Mountains for you! 🙂
I should have looked at the pictures the other way round. Now I’m moving from spring to winter 🙂
Despite all the snow, I really like the composition.
No problem and thank you Rabirius, it is probably going to look like this for some time out there in Colorado plus there is more snow on the way later in the week!
Such a great feel to this image. The muted reds are perfection.
looks so cool 🙂
Unmistakably USA.
Looks fine how it is 🙂
Ah, the serenity of up-country!
