The loneliness of the long distance traveller.

Very nice shot.
Thank you so much Bumba!
Just when we thought it was safe to travel again! Only the lonely travel now.
Only the lonely and disconnected travel late at night Gerard! The hordes had come, wave after wave in the earlier hours, and gone. We are the leftovers, plus the bars had shut by this time . . . . 😦
Seems a pic for some spy thriller movie
With the Duke providing the tagline and haunting prospect of re-appearance.
Very deep Patti. I love the symplicity of the lines and the single person striding the other way (he does look like a security person doesn’t he!). I think this captures how airports can be lonely places despite usually being full of people – a collective of strangers. Great shot!
Perhaps he was on the look out for suspicious activity . . . Thank you Martin!
Love the lines on this shot Patti 🙂
Happy for you Joe, so many lines to love! 🙂
Thank you so much Indah!
Wow, thank you Robert!
Which airport is this?
You mean you can’t tell?
It’s Denver 🙂
Oh, the coolness of black and white!
And so calming to shoot in B&W, thank you Annie!
That really is an amazing composition.
Thank you so much Rabirius!
Just brilliant! 🙂
Thank you kindly Madhu!
Wow, to get this type of shot is great and timing is nice too. As someone mentioned above this reminded me of a spy movie.
It felt like I had all the time in the world, thank you so much Mark and yes, it felt like being trapped in a spy movie.
Thank you Lyn!
I love this one, so much depth in it!
The joy of an empty airport. Nice lines.
The shine on the shoes, the metal the lights-fascinating!
At first I thought he was walking on rail tracks — a strike perhaps? — until I finally recognized those passenger carriers that reach to eternity.
Quite a shot.
