I can’t figure out where you were…and I can’t get used to the Freedom Tower – I’ve been away too long! π Very nice shot, but I’m glad the ice is gone (it is GONE, right?)
Yes Lyn, the ice has gone but it took some time! I took this shot, and so many more you will be pleased to know (!) on one of my long walks across Williamsburg Bridge and beyond. This is south of the bridge, near the navy yards. I’m getting to the point where 5mins out of NY is enough to notice some of the changes!
Superb! I can almost see your house from here!
See monochromia!
VERY cool!
This would make a great cover for a Sci-Fi story – It’s other-worldly! Excellent stuff Patti π
I love this image Patti π
Love your frozen river photo.
Wonderful to see New York like this……great photograph!
Another fine shot from the lady!
We just had a day of sun, warmth and snow melting. To morrow is supposed to be even warmer; BRING IT ON!
Looks like New York in a sci-fi movie. Great shot!
You have such a knack for making things look so extraordinary!
cool indeed!
And silence took over.
That’s very cool! Before I read it I thought it was land.
Intense. Hard to believe New York is farther south than Rome – the winters are so much harsher…
great contrast π
Impressive image!
You are an amazing photographer!
Isn’t it just a fabulous skyline … time stood still …
Truly impressive Patti! I wouldn’t have guessed the foreground was a frozen river either!
Fantastic title.
