Wonderful shots, Patti. This year we had quite a warm winter in Berlin, Germany. It’s crazy, but currently it feels more like the beginning of spring than the regularly cold winter days and I just LOVE it!

Yesterday night I saw in the news a report about “New York on the rocks”. Your photo set celebrate the joy of winter even I know it is really cold on your side. Photo Nr. 3 is my personal highlight. It is georgous. The snow covered trees and branches. What a view! Take care and keep you warm.

I’ve been thinking of you a lot lately, Patti. We call family back east (Port Washington, Boston) and they are almost speechless at this point. I look forward to your perspective, and I know it’s cruel, cruel, cruel, but I’m glad I’m removed from it, getting the visuals without the biting cold on my face, looking out the window here, knowing I can go out and not freeze my whatever off. I’ve become a wimp! But I count on you to show the beauty, and I know there is great beauty and interest in New York these days. I think my fave is the first one of people walking in the park.
I couldn’t believe your beautiful spring blossoms Lyn, such winter tonics!! You seem to be very much at home where you are now and I am so grateful, and in awe, of the beauty you share from wherever you happen to be.
As for the cold here in NYC I dare not complain when I think about all that Bostonians are having to put up with, and it’s not getting better anytime soon either . . . . hope all more than ok with your family there.
Hi Patti, love #5 and the last one. Our weather in Toronto is similar to yours and I’m just about done with winter. I’m not a winter photographer so I tend to hibernate for 3-4 months. I love to see photos from those that brave the cold so I look forward to seeing your posts.

These are all gorgeous and I love seeing you in colour. Photo #3 stands out for me – the way snowy branches draw me in deeper and deeper into the shot – lovely!
Wonderful – loved the subdued hues. Also, the snow really brings out the contorted limbs in such contrast with the rigid architecture in the background. Great set.
