Winter is a cummin….I was on the beach the other day and noticed that the wind was a tad colder. Same at night, it’s time to dig out that wooly jumper.
Hi Patti
Fantastic street scene. Awesome how you get so much out of each shot that seems to tell a story worth more than a thousand words. I can take a thousand shots but never capture the moment like any one of your photo’s.
Thank you Richard! After taking this shot I kept on walking down Malcolm X Blvd to Central Park, hopped on a bus then wondered home. It was such a lovely evening.
Paula, summer feels a long time ago already . . . but to be honest, I love the seasons for what they are, the extremes somehow balance each other out and give us something to remember, something to look forward to. Thank you for noticing the “not much” tag! It was something along the lines of a hot summer night’s mañana . . . love and best to you!
Wonderful Equinox shot – Sweet Dreams.
Thank you Pierr and happy painting where you are!
Thanks for the early birthday present. Luv ya.
Happy, happy birthday wishes to you Tom – make a year of it!
Nice night shot. Looking forward to more of your stories.
PS Your tag “not much” made me laugh. 🙂
Thank you Lignum, sorting through the stories!
As for the tag, I suspect it might be a lonely one, although a very honest tag! 🙂
Heat finally break for ya!!?
Getting there!
winter is coming ………….

😀 😀 😀
Nice night shot Patti
It’s going to be a long one . . . .

Enjoy the change Mike! A little slower here in that we can now enjoy the weather without having the AC on!

Thank you so much Tex! If it is any consolation I do take a thousand shots, most of which can go straight in the bin. . . .
I remember the reputation Harlem had back in the 70’s. The place has indeed come a tremendously long way.
Allan, Harlem has come a long way with a rich community working to keep it strong. Some of the stories though . . .
Yes, there’s a bite in the air here too. Lovely shot, Patti! What did you do after taking this?
Thank you Richard! After taking this shot I kept on walking down Malcolm X Blvd to Central Park, hopped on a bus then wondered home. It was such a lovely evening.
Great capture Patti, and boy, how true, so many stories in the big city. Margie
“There are eight million stories in the naked city . . . ”
Thank you Margie!
same overhere… after a lovely summer, two weeks of rain, today was a lovely fall day
Hope you enjoy more lovely autumn days Inge!
Patti, I’ve a feeling that you find gorgeous photos of the city and her people in all seasons:)
Elena, you are too kind!
Oh, I will miss the summer!
But you will always have happy memories of this summer Anette!
Yes, I will 🙂
time to go inside …
No, no, not yet . . . . 😦
Love these nano glimpses into your world, Patti!
Ahhh … I will say Good-Night to summer but Hello to our beautiful fall. It’s similar to Spring.
I send you warm – not hot – fall dreams. xo
Ah, the romance of the streets…
I would love to walk through NYC at night. The city must truly never sleep. 🙂
Very beautiful photo! 🙂
Antonio
Thank you so much Antonio!
I bet you miss the summer heat now. I know I do. This picture is lovely, and I suggest you remove the tag “not much” 😀
