hi Patti,
for sure great gospel music – and your photo gallery: superb! my favorite pic: #3 green dressed singer vs. fashion girl on the wall. BUT let us THINK: Evolution is a hoax??? Good education in USA seems to be a hoax. What do you think, half British, half US: the British parliament said NO to military intervention in Syria. And the USA? Question of education how to decide? Germany says no, French president says yes – let’s escape to music: http://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2013/09/05/the-syria-question/
your Frizz
Thank you Frizz for the fabulous link! It was strange walking through the subway, seeing all these signs in isolation then finding Arlethia at the end of the trail.
As for Syria . . . . what a mess! Considering how Bush and Blair strong armed their way into a war in Iraq on the most tenuous grounds yet I’m not sure what purpose missile strikes will achieve when there are sure to be more innocent civilian casualties while the perpetrators continue causing mayhem. Plus, apart from Assad, there are so many other rebel groups involved.
The very nature of any subway is one of passing through but I am always surprised at how easy it is to linger down there although the Chinese string version of Ave Maria is always enough for me to pick up my pace and head for the exit! Thank you so much Otto!
Thank you! Strange isn’t it how “series” somehow present themselves when looking through sets of shots . . . particularly when the intention was to do something rather different.
Patti, this is a great insight into daily life. I in particularly like the third images as it almost seems as thought the girl in the advert has turned around to see who is singing. I hope you have a great weekend.
Certainly a voice difficult to ignore. Thank you James and so sorry to be getting back to you so late (computer probs!) and wishing you a good week ahead!
I can easily spend a day in this station just watching and listening to the array of talent and characters that frequent the place – nice series Patti..
I don’t believe in any gods, nor do I believe that Jesus of Nazareth was a prophet or the son of any metaphysical creature, but in theory I agree that if you do believe the stuff, you should follow the bible and not worship other gods or humans.
Patti, glad you chose here to live, you see things that those of us who were born here miss. You rock a camera.
Thank you Tom! So much happens here in the city it is still easy enough to miss something!
The singer pic is fantastic !!!
Great job Patti.
🙂
Thank you HG – I thought of posting that shot on its own but then I saw the other shots and thought . . . why not! She has a great voice!

You Tube can be such a pesky little nuisance at times!
