I’ll take a seat by the window so’s I can watch the world go by as I sip my coffee after a filling breakfast …. sigh 🙂
Bliss! 🙂
So Stunning Patti Inside and outside ,Excellent shot 🙂
Thank you Jake. As @Geoff said earlier, perfect for “watching the world go by!”
A true Edward Hopper photo.
Wow, thank you Tom!
Very cool photo, Patti.
Thank you John!
To Edward Hopper, I would add Dennis – this has a really cool 50s/ 60s look to it. Love your composition.
The spirit of Dennis Hopper is alive and doing well in San Francisco! Thank you Richard!
An Asian cooking Italian food in San Francisco :). This must be interesting… Love your photo Patti 🙂
Paula, if you click through the link you will find some interesting and entertaining reviews on this very conundrum!
I clicked on the link to the said restaurant. Did you mean for me to read the reviews about the place there?
Yes, the reviews are there but read them only if you want to!
looks like a cool place 🙂
Thoroughly recommend it Joshi, as long as you are not too fussy!
Inside Henry’s world is a man with an amazing story to tell. Beautiful and moving post.
Thank you IT, I would love to hear Henry’s story – one of the reviewers (if you click through the link) described Henry as “an old Asian man with a face that appears to hold deep dark secrets . . . .” He was smiling the day I was there, and it was earlier in the day!
We have an Italian kitchen, in San Francisco, and run by an Asian .. and you have bacon and eggs for breakfast. Is that what America does to a girl from west of Byron?
No baked beans??
Henry’s nothing if not versatile! No baked beans Pete but plenty of chilli sauce, and soy sauce. One of the Tenderloin’s finest!
The black and white really makes this image come to life to me! 🙂
The light – it does all the work!
A very nice shot. I like the relaxed atmosphere, the busy street and the almost contemplative breakfast guest in the corner. Great in black and white. Nothing like eggs, bacon and coffee for breakfast!
Thank you so much Otto. I am often asked what I do when I travel – this photo, with your comment, practically sums it up!
Agree with Geoff: window seat and coffee!
Where would we be without them!
I love this shot, it’s so timeless. A real classic piece of documentation, the guy scratching his head really adds something to the image, quite thought provoking.
Strange isn’t it the places we find extended moments of peace, quiet and contentment. Thank you Willrobb for your very generous comment!
Excellent photography. Like it a lot.
My grateful thanks to you Arindam!
I like the Anthem design of your page very much!
Thank you Frizz, kind of you to say!
Scratch, scratch. Love it!
Something about a corner table, in the sunshine . . .
What a cosy corner to look out at the world from 🙂
It is always such a bonus to find these spots don’t you think!
Always 🙂
brings to mind Edward Hopper. excellent photo, Patti.
