West 4th St, West Village summer evening. The night Obama came to town and missed out on all the fun around the corner!
From one step in a stoop, and all in less than a New York minute!
Great photos, they capture summer in NYC.
. . .in the summer in the city
Cool town, evening in the city . . .
Thank you Tom and hope you are enjoying your summer wherever you are!
Great to see you out in the streets again, Patti:)
Obama really did miss out on all the fun!
Poor fellow (or whoever’s the incumbent) probably misses out on all the fun, most of the time:)
Variety of colors, many people, noise we imagine ourselves. Very nice pictures Pat.
That’s summer in the city Carlos, before it gets too hot!
Looks like a fun time …. cool
It was the warm barmy air!
A New York minute is so much shorter than a Miami minute. Here 9 AM means 11:30. Tuesday means Thursday(a lot of times Friday). It’s Cuban time. I’ll get back to you on that means never.
A Miami second is so much longer than a New York one. 9 AM means 11:30. Tuesday means Thursday. I get back to you on it means never.
Oops Carl, I found your most welcome comments in Spam and in my haste to get you out of there – that WP should do this to you and others of high esteem is becoming an alarming trend . . . or perhaps it is the Miami /New York time warp doing it again.
and have a good time in San Francisco!
Only the San Francisco Bay Blues could sound so jolly, thank you Frizz!
Wishing you a good time in San Francisco from the wonderful cafe Trieste, even if we are there only in spirit!
…runnin’ up the stairs, gonna meet you on the rooftop… Great shots, PK.
Come on over GE, despite the heat it’ll be alright!
I love all the warm smiles you’ve collected here, Ms. K!
I’m kind of happy it’s not me in that window, though… if it was I would definitely tip out… and probably on the ‘farther down’ side!
Which is why my windows are so dirty! I get dizzy at the thought of cleaning the outsides so I wait for the rain to fall instead! The girl in this window is safe- notice the tiny tuft of hair walking by along the bottom of the shot?
Thank you Sig, and as you always say, have a great week-end!
Love the optimism of your photographs – they have a real joie de vivre!
It was definitely one of those nights, thank you so much Richard!
such a busy place compared to my west Texas desert. 😉 thanks for sharing!
I love knowing your wonderful west Texas desert is always there!
People photographer extraordinaire, you’ve done it again! These are wonderful.
It was the warm air and intoxicating atmosphere of summer in the city!
