Margie, you would not believe how cold it was but skiing is one of the warmest, loveliest feelings in the world! I am so sorry not to have been able to photograph the young girl skiing in a bikini top . . . you keep cool down there!
Like the world froze, stood still and just a heavenly peace filled my mind and heart. Beautiful. The light across the blue sky is amazing. Reminds me that there is hope and a chance of peace and joy with each new day. Have a blessed day my friend. Wonderful post.
Yes indeed you read this right! As much as I would love to take my DSLR everywhere and up on the peaks it is just not manageable most of the time. The iPhone however sits in the pocket so easily and with so many fab apps . . . Aloha to you Karina and coming over soon for some positivity!
This is simply a very beautiful picture. What really makes the picture – for me at least – is the streak of cloud that stretches upward from the sun. Indeed a very peaceful captured world.
Oh I love skiing! It’s been such a long time since I’ve went but I do remember the beautiful and peaceful trails all lined with snow and trees. I miss those scenic views! Thanks for bring it back to me.
Joe, isn’t it just the best! Hard work sometimes but always so worth the effort and, as you say, those scenic views . . . for you to enjoy sooner rather than later I hope!
Hello Carl, love your cartoons and today’s photo with poem – beautiful! So sorry you have been having trouble with the comment and lovely to hear from you, thank you.
Thanks for the memory! I’ve been there.
Not the same place, of course, but that same scene;
winter, the sound of silence between twilight and evening!
Ahhhh….thanks, Patti!
Such a beautiful, peaceful scene! I love it!
Thank you so much Theresa! It was blissfully quiet up there.
Wow that is a beautiful winter photo! I love the glow from afar too!

Nice entry for sure. I feel the peace.
More than happy to share the peace with you Margie!

Thank you Cobbies! Not sure who the skier is, he was in and out of the frame in a flash!
Great job capturing the peacefulness of a ski slope in the morning.
Thank you Maggie, it is always so lovely up there.
Looks so calm and peaceful but so cold in our downunder summer!

Indeed it does Isadora!
Truly peaceful . . . and captured with the iPhone! Wow!! 🙂
That so much can be done with a phone, and I am sure I don’t know the half of it!
