Peaceful . . .
Catching the last lift up
coming down that mountain
all the time and space in the world
Such a beautiful, peaceful scene! I love it!
Thank you so much Theresa! It was blissfully quiet up there.
Wow that is a beautiful winter photo! I love the glow from afar too!
Thank you Gracie and so glad you enjoy the glow!
Nice entry for sure. I feel the peace.
More than happy to share the peace with you Margie!
nice pic,, who is the skier? 😉
Thank you Cobbies! Not sure who the skier is, he was in and out of the frame in a flash!
Great job capturing the peacefulness of a ski slope in the morning.
Thank you Maggie, it is always so lovely up there.
Looks so calm and peaceful but so cold in our downunder summer!
Margie, you would not believe how cold it was but skiing is one of the warmest, loveliest feelings in the world! I am so sorry not to have been able to photograph the young girl skiing in a bikini top . . . you keep cool down there!
Great entry Patti I love the way how you captured the image 🙂
Thanks Jake, frozen in the frame.
Elegant, peaceful yet exhilarating.
Alan, thank you for the elegant touch!
so peaceful it draws you in…
Thanks Jo, I wish I had been able to stay up there longer!
Now, that’s one peaceful place and panoramic shot. I never used that feature (panorama) of my camera yet.
Thank you Sony. I have only just started using this on my iPhone. So many fabulous apps out there. Do you have a particular favourite?
Thank you very much indeed Fergiemoto!
Beautiful picture! So peaceful.
Arindam, thank you!
Get thee to a mountain girl!
This is definitely one of my favourites!
Wow, I am honoured! Thank you NCP!
Like the world froze, stood still and just a heavenly peace filled my mind and heart. Beautiful. The light across the blue sky is amazing. Reminds me that there is hope and a chance of peace and joy with each new day. Have a blessed day my friend. Wonderful post.
Always hope out there somewhere in this wonderful world! All best to you always IT.
Peaceful indeed with an awesome picture! Thanks for the share 🙂
Happy to share some mountain solitude, thank you Madman!
Amazing…I really like the ghostly skier. Did I read this right that you used an iPhone?
Yes indeed you read this right! As much as I would love to take my DSLR everywhere and up on the peaks it is just not manageable most of the time. The iPhone however sits in the pocket so easily and with so many fab apps . . . Aloha to you Karina and coming over soon for some positivity!
The beauty of nature always brings peace.
Indeed it does Isadora!
Truly peaceful . . . and captured with the iPhone! Wow!! 🙂
That so much can be done with a phone, and I am sure I don’t know the half of it!
This is simply a very beautiful picture. What really makes the picture – for me at least – is the streak of cloud that stretches upward from the sun. Indeed a very peaceful captured world.
Munchow, I very much appreciate your very generous comment, thank you!
brings back happy ski memories 🙂
So pleased you have happy ski memories! Hope you get to go again soon!
Oh I love skiing! It’s been such a long time since I’ve went but I do remember the beautiful and peaceful trails all lined with snow and trees. I miss those scenic views! Thanks for bring it back to me.
Joe, isn’t it just the best! Hard work sometimes but always so worth the effort and, as you say, those scenic views . . . for you to enjoy sooner rather than later I hope!
There’s a skier with a half working invisibility cloak right in the middle of your lovely photo. 🙂
The Mystery Rider of the Mountain!
This is very peaceful. Great photo.
Thank you NN. It was such a lovely end to the day, not to mention hard to drag myself away.
snow – a reset button …
I do need to move on . . .
Having trouble to get in to comment. Thanks visit my blog.
Hello Carl, love your cartoons and today’s photo with poem – beautiful! So sorry you have been having trouble with the comment and lovely to hear from you, thank you.
That’s a fabulous photo – looks like a ghost skier
I promise you, I didn’t know what I was doing with this one. Perhaps he is a ghost!
awesome picture…so peaceful
Thanks for the memory! I’ve been there.
Not the same place, of course, but that same scene;
winter, the sound of silence between twilight and evening!
