Breakfast in the Big Apple

My plan had been to put into words the magic of early morning Manhattan before the crowds hit the streets but Truman Capote did that with Holly Golightly’s fantasy that is forever Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The reality however was coffee, bagels and a croissant over on the West Side at Zabar’s.  The warmth of the early morning sunshine gave our breakfast a sparkle and shine that no amount of money could ever buy.
