Weekly Photo Challenge: Entrances
Today we went down to South Park, the real thing in the Colorado Rockies. Didn’t go looking for it, but here it is. Many more shots to post later but, for now, the entrance to big blue sky from the land where you never quite know what is around the corner . . .
Amazing photo of an entrance (to the big blue sky)!
Thank you! This was posted in such a hurry – I wanted to include more detail and more photos but the mountain air here is too relaxing for me to want to do anything more . . . .
Beautiful entrance to blue sky, Patti, the way the sign bends into sky, and the framing with buildings — how to say — how they draw the eye to the mountain in the distance. . . and, of course, the big blue sky. Lovely.
There were cowboys, on horses, beneath the sign as were the market stalls doing their best at the Annual Bead Fair but I wanted to keep it simple . . . it was all so much fun and thank you so much for your encouraging comment!
I love the blue color of the sky very vivid and so refreshing to the eye..The tone of the photo is also cool..I wonder whats excitement and fun that awaits from that entrance..Nice post patti..
John, it was such a strangely exciting day, and all so unexpected as to the fun that was going on beneath the entrance. Details to follow in the next post – when I get around to it. Thanks as ever for your lovely words and hope all well where you are.
Beautiful beautiful blue sky! Colors so great
Thank you Mizz, it really was a beautiful day!
A gorgeous entrance. So much possibilities ahead. Can’t wait for the next story that would unfold. Stay blessed always.
You are so right about the possibilities – are you able to guess at what might have been ahead? Still working on this one! Best wishes to you and your family.
Love that sky! Makes me feel hopeful, somehow.
